Thanks to Dr. David Kenley and Kay Wolf and the Center for Global Understanding and Peacemaking at Elizabethtown College for a successful
2019 China Town Hall.

The national telecast explored China’s rapid development and Sino-American relations have a direct impact on the lives of nearly everyone in the United States.

Speakers said U.S. relations with China impacts us, our educational institutions, our businesses, our communities, our states, and our country. CHINA Town Hall is a national conversation about China that provides Americans across the United States and beyond the opportunity to discuss issues in the relationship with leading experts.

MODERATOR: 
George Stephanopoulos is ABC News’ chief anchor. He also serves as anchor of Good Morning America and anchor of This Week with George Stephanopoulos.

Stephen Orlins 
President of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.  

Dr. Melanie Hart is a senior fellow and director for China policy at the
Center for American Progress, an independent nonpartisan institute.

Dr. Yasheng Huang is Epoch Foundation professor of international management and faculty director of action learning at Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

LOCAL Q&A MODERATOR: Dr. David Kenley
Director of Elizabethtown College’s Center for Global Understanding and Peacemaking, and professor of history. His research focuses on the history of Asia, particularly on modern China.
