Ties That Bind: The State of the Transatlantic Partnership

The World Affairs Council of Harrisburg welcomes the Honorable David Gill, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany for a discussion entitled “Ties that Bind: State of the Transatlantic Partnership”
David Gill has served as the Consul General of Germany in New York since 2012. David Gill was born in East Germany. After German Reunification, he left East Germany to study law, earning an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania. He has held posts in the Interior Ministry, the Federal Commission, and the Office of President Joachim Gauck. David Gill is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany.
The theme of the discussion will the state of the Transatlantic Partnership in 2019. This discussion is a part of the ongoing Deutschland Initiative: The Year of German-American Friendship to promote friendly ties between the people of Germany and the United States. Purchase tickets HERE.
